Our Services
Cavalier Health are based in Leeds but provides practical mental health training and leadership support for construction teams, individuals, and site leads across the country.
We don’t deliver Mental Health First Aid. Instead, our work focuses on building real confidence, capability, and early intervention skills through clinically informed, on-site training and leadership development that fits the realities of construction work.

Mental Health First Aid Is a Great Start. But It's Only the Beginning.
Across construction, manufacturing and industry, more organisations are investing in Workplace Mental Health First Aid to help create healthier, safer workplaces. It's an important first step that raises awareness, reduces stigma, and gives people the confidence to start conversations about mental health.
But training alone doesn't create a sustainable workplace mental health strategy.
Once the course is over, Mental Health First Aiders often return to demanding day jobs, supporting colleagues alongside their existing responsibilities, without ongoing professional guidance, reflective practice, or additional support.
At the same time, employees may still hesitate to seek help because:
They're worried about being judged by colleagues.
The person they need to speak to is also their manager or teammate.
Some conversations feel too personal to have with someone they work alongside every day.
Situations become more complex than a Mental Health First Aider was trained to manage.
Mental Health First Aiders play an invaluable role, but they shouldn't be expected to carry the responsibility alone.
The Missing Piece
Cavalier Health works alongside your existing Workplace Mental Health First Aiders to strengthen the support already in place.
Rather than replacing your Mental Health First Aiders, we provide the professional expertise, continuity, and external perspective that helps your wellbeing strategy succeed.
Our Workplace Mental Health Partnerships include:
✔️ An experienced, independent mental health practitioner your workforce can trust
✔️ Confidential on-site mental health coaching and early intervention
✔️ Practical support for managers and leadership teams
✔️ A clear escalation pathway for more complex situations
✔️ Ongoing guidance that complements your existing Mental Health First Aid provisionTogether, this creates a mental health system that people are more likely to use, helping employees access support earlier while giving your Mental Health First Aiders the confidence that they are not working in isolation.
Supporting the People Who Support Everyone Else
The Stronger Minds, Safer Sites Network provides ongoing professional development, reflective practice, and peer support for Workplace Mental Health First Aiders and wellbeing leads.
Included within our Workplace Mental Health Partnerships, the network helps members continue developing long after their initial Mental Health First Aid training has finished.
Members benefit from:
✔️ Monthly professional support and reflective practice
✔️ Continued learning beyond their initial qualification
✔️ Guidance from a dual-trained Adult and Mental Health Nurse
✔️ Practical resources and shared learning from real workplace situations
✔️ A supportive community that understands the realities of the roleMental Health First Aid starts the conversation.
Cavalier Health helps organisations build the confidence, consistency, and professional support needed to create lasting improvements in workplace mental health.
Because healthier workplaces aren't created by one training course. They're built through ongoing investment in people, leaders, and culture.
