I have checked out the CT site a couple of times since it went down and all this who-ha started. I too was angry. It is now back, but when I searched for Mark Marshall his name was not on the list of members. Then I did a search of his postings but found nothing since well before Christmas.

Looking at this, I wonder whether KL is in the process of transferring posts from one place on the site to another? Perhaps the missing subject will re-appear soon.

I do hope so.

looks like I have been put on moderation and can't post there anymore.
Where has freedom of speech gone. Seems like one needs to be cloned to be a member. A dictatorship... toe the line or else. The whole thing has got out of hand..its not about CKCS any more..nor their health. was Mark's post in breach of rules? If not then owner or not she had no right removing it. Seems like the membership has no say as its run like a cult.

It is Karlin's kingdom-- she has stated this idea emphatically numerous times. I broke no rule either.

Hi Lynne:

I would ask people to tender their condolences on the Cavalier Chat board, please.

Well looks like I will be kicked of CT soon PM had from KL
I've been trying hard not to take the floor for so long, especially I do not live in UK and probably shoudn't intrude....but it is unbelivable. I've never seen anything like that!!
I have no words....how insensitive one has to be to do things like that...

Well maybe it is Sandy... but that doesn't stop people taking legal action against any of her subscribers if they make libellous or slanderous remarks on a Forum open to anyone who wishes to read the posts. That's why you should always copy them immediately they show up on the screen, and safely file them away before they magically disappear ... I always do

Regards,
Veronica

This really is hard to believe. Regardless of whatever differences of opinion people have, to be that insensitive to another person is really terrible.

It's pretty obvious that Mark Marshall may have had differences of opinion with others on this forum, yet he has the decency to extend sympathy to someone who has suffered a terrible loss and can relate with them and their love for this breed. I really respect him for that. But KLs actions just show her inability to see past herself. Its really sad.

True-- she could be held accountable for libel. But she has never said that her 'domain' was a diplomatic area. It actually started out as a wonderful place to meet cavaholics (people who are dearly addicted to cavaliers). Over the years the atmosphere has changed and in my opinion, not for the better.

Stacy I have to agree with every word, it is more than disgraceful to say the very least, how low can one possibly get.

Concerning Mark: I have been pretty upset at times by his, to me, rather confrontational and sometimes (IMO) insulting posts, BUT, I read one of his on CT that was extremely (again IMO) sensible and well worded. I wanted to re-read it, but it had GONE.

Stacy - there is no accounting for the lack of ordinary good manners shown by some people

It seems to me that this is just another instance of attention-seeking behaviour by a sad little person who unfortunately has never learned how to behave in ordinary decent human society
