Veronica,
so sorry for your loss. I cried and cried to read that post. We all see ourselves and our furbabies past and present when reading about such losses. There just is no "good" way for such a painful farewell. I suppose Sasha's final moments and your ability to spend them peacefully at home with her are precious to you.
While it is woefully inadequate, Hugs to you.

Dear Veronica & Coiln

It doesn't get any easier saying goodbye to the oldies however many dogs you have had
You must feel very proud of Kandice Marie, what a great life she led and her going was with peace and dignity

My thoughts are with you both

What a wonderful old girl and a tremendous life to celebrate. Fond memories of her in heyday - especially at the Club Show. I think she might have been in puppy even!

Ahhh..... thank you Michael... that is indeed a great memory. It was 1993, and for my special girl to take Best Puppy in Show was thrilling. As we know, to be awarded a prize card of any colour at the Club Champ Show is an honour, but that day was a very special one, and I'll hold that memory in my heart forever.

warm regards,
Veronica.

I've not really been around much and have only just seen this thread. Veronica, I am so sorry for you and Colin to lose your special girl.

I too am sat withn the tears rolling but what a wonderful testament to the breed to have such a long life and to go in such special circumstances with your 'Mum' there loving you at the end.

My heart goes out to you both, you'll never forget your beautiful girl and I'm sure she'll visit you from time to time (we still hear Charlie).

Run free at the Bridge little Sasha and chase those bunnies for all you're worth xxxxx
