Default A Good Vet

Good Vets exist. A blind woman lost her second Cavalier with MVD and her vet searched for another for her, an older dog rather than a puppy. She found one, spent a lot of time talking to the previous owners and reassuring them that the dog would have a good home, would be exercised and have correct care. When the dog was delivered, she visited in order to reassure both parties and make a quick (and free) assessment of the dog. Reassuring; there are vets who care!!

I can second this abut good vets. I have nothing but praise for my surgery. As most of you will know, we sadly had to say goodbye to one of our babies last week and the Vet came out to the house to help him cross the Bridge.

The vet and the nurse were here for about 1 1/2 hours and were absolutely brilliant. The charge for this was just over £80 including treatment.

My other dog has been very stressed since losing his companion & today seemed very under the weather. He loves being groomed and has a good brush every day but today seemed to have a sore ear. I popped him into the vets and he was made such a fuss of. He's got an ear infection but luckily we think we've nipped it in the bud. I can't praise the duty vet enough though for the thorough check up that she gave him and the love and attention shown - even hugging and kissing him and talking to him like we do

After reading some of the horror stories on here and other boards I am just so glad that even though they are expanding, my Vets are all really wonderful
